Luke Littler was confronted by Ricardo Pietreczko at the Belgian Darts Open earlier this month.

Luke Littler has agreed to do a finger wag celebration if he beats Luke Humphries in reference to his recent heated exchange with Ricardo Pietreczko.

The 17-year-old has taken the world of darts by storm since his whirlwind debut at the World Darts Championships and he continued his meteoric rise by winning the Belgian Darts Open with a nine-darter in the final earlier this month.

He defeated 2018 world champion Rob Cross to lift the trophy, but he was involved in a bizarre altercation with Pietreczko in the match prior.

The German darts player was seen having angry words with Littler as they shook hands with the teenager looking confused.

Pietreczko hit out at Littler on social media after the match with "hope his arrogance punishes him".

Littler was confused as to what he had done wrong to warrant Pietreczko's response and has spoken about the incident further while appearing on JackMaate's Happy Hour podcast.

"He was chatting in German and then he said 'don't do it again'," Littler said.

"I was like, 'what?'.

"I knew it was the 147 when I tried to checkout. I went triple-19, which left me 90 so I tried going tops-bull.

"Then I missed the tops and then I hit the 25.

"But the next leg he was left on 80 and he tried going tops-tops, but then he went 20-20 and tops and then he was giving it the finger wag... and I just started laughing.

"Then I won the next four legs and won the game and he weren't happy about it."

Podcast host Jack Dean later requested Littler to repeat the winger fag he received from Pietreczko as part of his celebration when he next hits a nine-darter.

The YouTube star later changed his request to be the finger wag if Littler beats Luke Humphries in their Premier League match this week in Belfast.

Littler accepted the challenge and shook hands with the podcast host, adding: "I owe two things now.

"When asked what the other one was, Littler replied: "The guy off fantasy football [Andrew] Mensah, he told me to do like a little 'w' for my next win.

"Littler also issued a come-and-get-me plea to appear in this year's Soccer Aid after noticing a spare spot in the team.

LATEST SPORT NEWS:

He was originally scheduled to play the Nordic Masters, which is scheduled to take place on the same weekend as Soccer Aid on June 9 at Stamford Bridge.

Littler ended up pulling out due to 'family commitments', meaning he could be free for Soccer Air and he's made it clear that he would like to be involved.

He said: "I’ve seen they have only got about 10 people down, so if they are watching – get me in.

"I’m definitely not playing in goal if I play for Soccer Aid. Up front."
