The clip has since been posted on social media and gone viral.
But Price has now taken to social media to share an update, insisting he was filmed without his permission.
"I'm so happy this has been posted, these people are the reason we don't sign things, and are the people that spoil it for the real darts fans," he wrote.
"What you don't see is hands and bags full of merchandise... and also this guy is filming from a pair of glasses unknown to the players.
"Goes to show what sort of people are out there.
"Please share this as this has invaded my personal space and I haven't given this person the right to film me and put on social media.
"These people turn up at hotels and don't even attend events.
"No signing for you mate and i'm so glad I spotted that you was one of them."
Price then shared some private messages he'd received.
One fan messaged him and said: "The worst type of people mate."
A second wrote to Price saying: "I'd love to get your autograph. You are my darts hero.
"Why do horrible people have to spoil things?"
A third wrote: "Only trying to benefit from it the rats."
And a fourth said: "Same with footballers you see grown men pushing in front of kids to get things signed etc to sell on."
Price is next in action on Thursday night when the Premier League resumes.
