Gerwyn Price was furious with one fan during his Premier League clash against Stephen Bunting

Gerwyn Price brought proceedings to a dramatic standstill during his Premier League Darts semi-final against Stephen Bunting in Sheffield this evening.

The Welsh star, known as the 'Iceman', spotted a troublesome spectator and immediately took matters into his own hands.

Price was ahead 2-1 when he turned away from the oche and began pointing directly at a fan seated in the front row to the left of the stage.

The 2021 world champion then gestured emphatically towards security staff, demanding they remove the individual from the venue.

His wish was granted moments later, with the rest of the Sheffield crowd breaking into cheers and applause as the offending supporter was escorted out.

The disruption came at a particularly awkward moment, with Bunting having just landed his first dart in the treble 20 bed during the fourth leg.

As the Liverpudlian was preparing to follow up with another maximum, his concentration was shattered by the unruly fan.

Both players worked alongside the referee to identify exactly who was causing the trouble.

Sky Sports commentator Wayne Mardle didn't hold back in his criticism, saying: "It's a shame when people think they can pay good money and ruin everybody else's evening."

The atmosphere inside the arena shifted noticeably once the troublemaker was removed, with fellow spectators clearly delighted to see the back of them.

Price never quite recovered his composure following the commotion, and Bunting capitalised brilliantly.

The Bullet, who had earlier dispatched Jonny Clayton, went on to claim a gutsy 6-3 victory over his Welsh opponent.

It was a crucial win for Bunting, whose slim hopes of reaching next week's finals at the O2 Arena depended entirely on taking the night.

For Price, the defeat stings less given his play-off berth was already locked in after an impressive 2026 campaign.

The Welshman will have plenty to keep him busy regardless, with the former world champion also set to compete at the UK Open Pool Championship next week.
