The 20-year-old is willing to learn from icons past and present
Carlos Alcaraz has revealed he'd love to learn the 'class Roger Federer has in his game and his movements' in the coming years ahead.
The 20-year-old has made a stunning start to his tennis career so far, winning two Grand Slam titles.
Alcaraz battled his way to his first major last year, claiming the US Open title with victory over Casper Ruud in the final.
And he followed that up with a five-set triumph over Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon earlier this month.

Alcaraz has now been asked about Djokovic, Federer and Rafael Nadal - with those three players widely considered to be among the best in men's tennis history.
And while the youngster is keen to focus on himself, he's now admitted he'd love to take two things from Federer - as well as other attributes from Djokovic and Nadal.
“To be honest, I’m already quite happy with the game I have," he told French newspaper L'Equipe.
“But if I had to take something from each, it would be Rafa’s mentality, the class that Federer has in his game and in his movements, and practically all of Djokovic’s shots, which are incredible.
"I would like to improve everything in my game a bit. Like Djokovic, Federer and Nadal did.”
For years, the tennis world has wondered when the next generation will arrive.
And Alcaraz's stirring win over Djokovic felt like a changing of the guard, with 16 years between the two men.
The Spaniard is keen to stay grounded, however, and wants to follow in the footsteps of his idols by winning more Grand Slam titles.
“At 20, they had also already won two or three Grand Slams and they continued to improve," he said.
"That’s why they won the best tournaments in the world for so many years. They never stagnated and always wanted more."
Alcaraz played in the Hopman Cup for Spain over the weekend.
The 20-year-old won both of his singles matches against David Goffin and Borna Coric.
But he was unable to emerge victorious in the mixed doubles while playing alongside Rebeka Masarova.
And he expressed his disappointment following that setback, revealing he'd hoped to win while playing with his compatriot.
“Honestly, I wanted to win both doubles," continued the youngster.
"I always want to win the tournaments I play.

"We only play [these] tournaments once a year. I’m really disappointed not to have won the mixed doubles."
He did, however, insist he'd enjoyed the experience.
“It was cool. It’s nice to have the experience of playing mixed doubles and mixed tournaments," he stated.
"It was also nice to share this event with Rebeka. It was really cool. We’re not really used to playing this kind of tournament."
On the fans present, he continued: “I felt the energy, I felt the love, it was incredible. I enjoyed playing here from day one. I’m going to keep it in my head."
