James Dean Fury, Tyson Fury's first cousin once removed, is carving out his own path as a super-middleweight prospect.
The 19-year-old fighter is the grandson of Jimmy Fury, brother to coaches Peter and John Fury.

During the Sky Sports News appearance, the presenter struggled to explain James Dean's place in the Fury family tree.
"Can you help me here, so people will be wondering where you fit in the Fury family tree. So Peter is your trainer but he's also your great uncle so he's your dad's brother?" the host asked.
Dean Fury politely corrected him: "No, he was my grandad's brother."

"Grandad's brother, help me out over here," the presenter responded, highlighting the complexity of the famous boxing family's connections.
Dean Fury has been competing as an amateur since October 2021, building an impressive 8-1 record.
His only defeat came in April 2024 against Oladimeji Shittu.
The young boxer has shown remarkable resilience, bouncing back with five wins in just two months.

"Of course there's a Fury styling, you know. Like I said earlier, you know, you gotta be a Fury to perfect it," Dean Fury explained.

"I'm training every day. I've got my head down and I'm fully focused and committed on what I want in life and what I want in my career," he added.

"Soon enough, everybody will know the name James Dean Fury," he declared confidently.
He added: "Because as soon as I turn professional, I will light up the super middleweight division and I'll come for everything."
