Tyson Fury says he was left 'absolutely terrified' after a private jet carrying him and his family was forced into an emergency landing due to a mechanical fault mid-flight.
The retired heavyweight boxing champion had been travelling home with wife Paris and their seven children after a romantic trip to the south of France, where the couple renewed their vows for the third time.
But what should have been a straightforward journey quickly turned into a frightening ordeal.

Speaking directly to fans via Instagram while still on board, Fury revealed that just 100 miles into the flight the captain broke the news that there was a serious issue with the aircraft.

|“We’d travelled about 100 miles on the plane and the captain came over to me and said, ‘We’ve got to turn this plane around because there’s a problem with one of the wings and it won’t fix on the computer, so we’ve got to try and get back’,” Fury explained.
The 37-year-old then admitted the announcement left him rattled.
“Talk about totally s****ing yourself.
"We’re now spinning the plane around and going back to the airport where we started. Terrifying.”

Footage posted to his social media showed the Fury family seated as the aircraft banked and began the return to its departure point. He captioned the clip simply: 'Bad news.'
The incident came just days after Fury and Paris, 35, enjoyed an intimate vow renewal ceremony in a picturesque French church.
That event, attended only by their children, marked their third time exchanging vows, having first married in 2008 and holding a second ceremony several years later.

|The couple’s children — Venezuela, 15, Prince John James, 13, Prince Tyson II, nine, Valencia, seven, Prince Adonis Amaziah, six, Athena, four, and Prince Rico, two - stood alongside them as they marked the occasion.
Paris wore a bespoke white dress by Self-Portrait, while Fury chose a relaxed look of a cream shirt, white shorts, and sandals.
Sharing photos of the celebration with his 6.7 million Instagram followers, the 'Gypsy King' wrote: “Paris Fury and I got married again; third time lucky.graphs
"We had the most beautiful day in the South of France, it holds a lot of special memories for us.”
The post was set to Bruno Mars’ 2011 hit 'Marry You,' adding a romantic flourish to the family moment.
Fury, who retired from professional boxing after a glittering career that saw him win every major heavyweight title, has long credited Paris with being the anchor in his life, supporting him through both personal and professional highs and lows.
