Tyson Fury has departed Britain for the Isle of Man in what appears to be a direct response to Chancellor Rachel Reeves' budget measures targeting wealthy individuals.
The two-time world heavyweight champion, aged 37, has relocated his family from their longtime home in Morecambe, Lancashire, to a six-bedroom property valued at £8million situated near Douglas.
Companies House filings dated 1 December confirm the boxer has officially changed his country of residence to the self-governing Crown Dependency. His wife Paris, 36, has made an identical amendment to her own business records.
The couple, who have seven children together, had listed England as their place of residence in Companies House documents as recently as July this year.

| PAThe financial incentives for the move are substantial. While UK higher rate taxpayers face a 40 per cent income tax burden, and those earning above £125,140 pay 45 per cent, the Isle of Man charges just 21 per cent at its top rate.
Perhaps more significantly for someone of Fury's reported £160million fortune, the Crown Dependency imposes no capital gains tax whatsoever, nor any inheritance tax.
The island also operates a ceiling on personal income tax contributions, capped at £220,000 annually for individuals and £440,000 for married couples.
According to wealth management firm Equiom's 2024 report, establishing tax residency requires spending either six months on the island in any tax year, or averaging more than 90 days annually over four consecutive years.
A source told The Sun: "Tyson has been telling pals that he has moved to the island."

|The insider added: "He is very fond of the Isle of Man and has been telling residents that he is looking forward to making it his home. The couple have also been checking out schools in the area for their youngest kids."
The timing of the departure appears linked to Reeves' introduction of a new levy on properties exceeding £2million in value.
The Fury family's Morecambe residence, where they had lived for several years, is understood to be worth more than this threshold.
Fury, known as the Gypsy King, serves as director of Tyson Fury Ltd, while Paris operates her own company, Paris Fury Ltd.
The boxer's presence on the island has been confirmed through numerous public sightings in recent weeks.
Fury was spotted aboard the Manxman ferry travelling from Heysham, Lancashire, earlier this month, where fans approached him for photographs.

The family also visited Terry's Tatos in Douglas last week, spending £60 on jacket potatoes for the entire household.
Director Rachel Marsland, 47, recalled the encounter: "I turned around and saw Paris Fury walk through the door and I recognised her instantly then I turned and saw Tyson ducking in the door."

She added that Fury asked whether there were sufficient potatoes for his party of nine, purchasing the remaining stock.
