Tyson Fury and Jake Paul have been messaging one another in a bid to make a rematch against Tommy Fury happen

Jake Paul has revealed private messages between himself and Tyson Fury as he attempts to secure a rematch with Tommy Fury.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer claims Tommy turned down a £6 million offer to fight him on Netflix last November.

Paul, who suffered his only professional defeat to Tommy Fury in February 2023, says the heavyweight champion Tyson has been messaging him behind the scenes to help arrange a second bout between the pair.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani, Paul said: "I DM'd Tyson Fury because Tyson was like, 'You guys need to make this happen now.'

"I was like, 'Tyson, you've got to put your brother in check here. He's not going to get this money or this offer anywhere else.'"

Paul claims Tommy's father, who serves as his manager, "has no idea what the f*** he's doing" and criticised Tommy for allowing his dad to run his career.

"Tommy's not his own boss, he's an airhead as well," Paul added.

Tommy Fury recently returned to the ring after nearly two years out, defeating Bosnian Kenan Hanjalic in Hungary earlier this month.

Following his victory, Fury called out Paul, saying: "Jake Paul's a b***h and he's running scared.

"Jake, the hand's fixed now, baby. The hand's fixed."

Fury had been sidelined due to hand surgery after his victory over KSI in October 2023.

"I fought a guy in here tonight who's had over 100 amateur fights and is experienced as hell, and he's as tough as teak," Fury added.

Despite the ongoing back-and-forth, Paul remains confident that a rematch with Fury will materialise soon.

"I think the Fury fight will happen in the next 12 months, yeah. He just has to be realistic about what's he's worth," Paul told Helwani.

Paul criticised Fury's recent comeback fight, claiming it "tanked" and "couldn't sell the tickets in wherever he was like a 1,000 person venue and he's just negotiating like he's God."

"He thinks he's worth more than what he's worth," Paul added.

Paul is set to return to the ring on 28 June against former middleweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in a cruiserweight clash in Anaheim, California.

The American is eager to face Tommy Fury again, saying: "I just can't wait to get back in there with this guy.

"It's just night and day and he hasn't got any better, right? He's been boxing since he was six years old, it's going to be the same stuff, same coach, his dumbass dad."
