Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder are set to make boxing history tonight as both heavyweight fighters complete their 50th professional contest at the O2 Arena in London.
The 42-year-old British veteran has announced this will be his final appearance in the ring, and he alarmingly claimed he was ready to give his life.
"There's no point sugarcoating it, I know this is going to be an amazing fight and all I can say is I am willing to die in the ring," Chisora declared.
The fighter insisted he is prepared to leave boxing "in a coffin" rather than accept defeat in his retirement bout against the 40-year-old American.

The weigh-in was overshadowed by a dispute concerning Wilder's boxing gloves, which remained unresolved as both fighters stepped onto the scales.
The former world champion, whose dominant reign ended when Tyson Fury stopped him twice, has endured numerous hand injuries throughout his career.
"It was my issue. I have broken my hands so many times and had so many surgeries," Wilder explained.

"We had an issue with the gloves being too tight on my hands."
The American, who previously accused Fury of tampering with his gloves during their trilogy, stressed his need for comfort in the ring.
"I just want to be comfortable in the ring and for there to be no excuses," he added.

"He's been there with Tyson Fury but he hasn't been there for a while," Chisora said of his rival's recent inactivity at the highest level.
The Finchley fighter expressed supreme confidence in his physical condition ahead of his farewell bout.
"We might not even see round two. The way I am feeling right now, I am so fit and I am so ready for this fight it might not see round two," he stated.
