Tyson Fury is set to discover his next opponent within days after promoter Frank Warren confirmed an announcement is expected this week.
The Gypsy King is preparing for another heavyweight showdown before his long-awaited blockbuster clash with Anthony Joshua later this year.
Fury returned to winning ways in April by beating Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
And Warren has now revealed plans are advancing rapidly for the former heavyweight champion's next outing.
"We'll hopefully be in a position to announce it next week, that's what we're looking to do," Warren told Sky Sports. "So keep watching this space, and it'll be a good opponent."
Warren also stressed the importance of Fury avoiding any slip-up before a potential mega-fight against Joshua in November.
"He can't afford to slip up, because obviously AJ's got his fight in a few weeks' time," Warren explained.

"[Joshua's] got to come through that, Tyson has to come through his, and then the big one will be in November."
Speculation surrounding a Fury versus Joshua showdown has intensified once again after years of failed negotiations and collapsed agreements between the two British rivals.
Both fighters remain among the biggest names in heavyweight boxing despite difficult periods in recent years.

Fury has repeatedly insisted he still wants the all-British clash before eventually walking away from the sport.
Joshua, meanwhile, continues rebuilding momentum as he attempts to force himself back into world title contention.
Warren also provided a major update on rising heavyweight star Moses Itauma.
The teenage sensation is widely viewed as one of the brightest prospects in world boxing and has already been tipped by many to become a future heavyweight champion.
Warren confirmed Itauma is close to securing a huge fight against a top-10 ranked opponent in Manchester.

"He's fighting a top 10 heavyweight, we expect to get the fight we want to make over the line."
The Queensberry promoter believes the heavyweight division is entering another golden era with several major names all competing near the top of the sport.
"This division is on fire," he added.
