The Gypsy King will be hoping to reign supreme on December 21

Boxing fans have fumed at a protocol breach on the poster for the undercard of Tyson Fury's upcoming rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury lost to the Ukrainian back in May, with the 36-year-old beaten by unanimous decision.

He will be hoping to strike gold second time around, however, with their crunch clash due to take place on December 21.

With the bout creeping closer, the full undercard has been confirmed for the grand event in Saudi Arabia.

Moses Itauma, who has been compared to a young Mike Tyson due to his brutal punching power, will face Demsey McKean.

Dennis McCann and Peter McGrail will do battle, as well as Johnny Fisher and Dave Allen.

Isaac Lowe is primed to lock horns with European champion Lee McGregor, while Israil Madrimov is set to slog it out with Ukraine's Serhii Bohachuk.

The poster has, however, raised eyebrows.

Normally, the reigning champion goes on the left - with his opponent on the right.

Yet protocol has been changed for this bout, with Fury displayed on the left - and Usyk on the right.

Boxing fans on social media have noticed, with many unhappy at with the decision to change things up.

"How on earth has Fury managed to blag his name first on the poster?" fumed one user.

"Not ranked number 1, no belts, not undefeated, lost already to Usyk, not being staged in the UK so can’t claim he is the A-side or a ticket draw.

"What is Fury bringing to the table?"

A second hit out by saying: "Good card, but why is Fury named first?"

A third added: "Why is Fury on the left?"

And another fan said: "The only way this has happened is because Usyk is all business, has no ego and therefore is happy to concede trivial issues like this."

Speaking recently, meanwhile, Tony Bellew expressed a belief that Fury would lose his rematch with Usyk.

The Briton, speaking to iFL TV, said: "Of course he can win, he could land a freaky punch. Anything can happen.

"But if I'm being totally honest, do I think he'll win? No. I think he'll lose again.

"And this time, I think he'll lose really, really clearly.

"Because Usyk this time will go on the back foot. And that is the worst nightmare for Tyson Fury because that's one that he can't control.

"You've got to understand, he pressed the whole fight. He walked the 6ft 9ins, 20 stone man down. He walked him down and bullied him.

"Imagine what he does when he fights to his attributes and fights to his best. Because his best is fighting on the back foot."
