British heavyweight Dave Allen has named Derek Chisora as the hardest puncher in boxing, following his extensive experience sparring with the sport's elite.
Allen, who recently stopped Johnny Fisher in the fifth round of their rematch, has shared the ring with numerous heavyweight champions including Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk and Wladimir Klitschko during his career as a sparring partner.
Despite facing this impressive roster of boxing talent, Allen told talkSPORT that none hit harder than Chisora, known as 'War' or 'Del Boy' in the ring.
"I think for one punch power... Derek Chisora," Allen told talkSPORT before his rematch with Johnny Fisher.

"Obviously, I don't think he was the best, but in terms of one-punch power and brute force, it is him."
Allen elaborated on the distinctive nature of Chisora's punching power compared to other elite heavyweights.
"His right hand was very heavy. Not the quickest and not much disguise to it. I could see it coming, and I could brace for it, but I felt it, that is for sure," he explained.
"He's a different kind of puncher to someone like Anthony Joshua. Joshua is a lot faster and crisper.
"Chisora is more concussive. Joshua caused me more problems in sparring, but in terms of raw power, it is Chisora."

Allen isn't alone in his assessment of Chisora's formidable punching power. Unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, who once knocked Allen out on his feet during a brutal sparring session in Ukraine, also identified Chisora as the hardest hitter he has faced.
When asked about his toughest fight on the Three Knockdown Rule podcast, Usyk confirmed it was Tyson Fury, but added: "Biggest punch - no. Because Derek Chisora is a very tough guy."
The Ukrainian champion vividly recalled the impact of Chisora's punch, saying: "[One punch landed] on the gloves and I said, 'Oh my God.' Like a baseball bat."

While Allen has sparred with many top heavyweights, Chisora has fought them all throughout his lengthy career.
The 49-fight veteran (36-13) has faced an impressive roster of opponents since his 2007 debut, including Vitali Klitschko, David Haye, Joseph Parker (twice), Oleksandr Usyk, Joe Joyce, Agit Kabayel, Dillian Whyte and Tyson Fury (three times).
Chisora, a former British, Commonwealth and European heavyweight champion, is reportedly planning one more fight before retirement.
Currently, he holds the position of IBF mandatory challenger for Daniel Dubois and is expected to wait for his opportunity to fight for the belt.
