More tributes have flooded in for the two men

Anthony Joshua has shared a touching tribute to his two friends who were tragically killed 10 days after the fatal Nigerian car crash.

The 36-year-old heavyweight boxer shared a mural of the two men alongside a lengthy message.

It read: "Thank you for all the love and care you have shown my brothers.

"I didn’t even realise how special they are."

Joshua added: "I’ll just be walking with them and cracking jokes with them, not even knowing God kept me in the presence of great men.

"100% it’s tough for me, but I know it’s even tougher for their parents ❤️ I have a strong mind, and I believe God knows their hearts. "

"May God have mercy on my brothers 🙏🏾"

Ghami served as Joshua's strength and conditioning coach, while Ayodele worked as his personal trainer, making both men integral members of his boxing camp.

The pair had travelled to Nigeria with Joshua to visit his family when tragedy struck last Monday morning.

Their Lexus SUV collided with a stationary lorry on a notoriously hazardous road near Lagos.

Both Ghami and Ayodele were killed instantly at the scene.

Joshua, who was heard crying out in agony, had to be extracted from the wreckage by rescuers.

The boxer was rushed to hospital but escaped with only minor injuries.

The vehicle's driver also survived the collision.

Joshua attended an emotional funeral service at London Central Mosque earlier this week, joining other mourners to pay his respects.

It is his second Instagram post since the crash last Monday.

He first broke his silence with a photograph of the bereaved relatives.

He captioned the moving images: "My Brothers Keeper", accompanied by two heart emojis and a military helmet symbol representing protection.

The phrase references a biblical passage from Genesis 4:9, conveying a moral obligation to look after others.

One photograph shows the boxer seated alongside Sanaz, the sister of Sina Ghami, who clutches a picture of her late brother.

The crash in Nigeria took place just days after Joshua had beaten Jake Paul in Miami, Florida. The Briton won via knockout, with the bout lasting six rounds.
