Zara and Mike Tindall have gone viral on TikTok after appearing in a video lip-syncing to a popular song at what is believed to be a private festival party they hosted over the weekend.

The royal couple were filmed singing along to TikToker Chilli Chilton's song "9,000 miles", a track written about moving to Australia and being "replaced in six days" by a boy back home.

The video, which has garnered nearly 600,000 views, shows a markedly different side to the couple who had attended Royal Ascot formally dressed just days earlier.

Mike, 46, appeared topless, wearing a hard hat and clutching a Peroni beer, while Zara, 44, sported denim dungarees, a white vest top, and glittery face paint.

Both wore lanyards reading "Authorised site access, permit for work", embracing the builder theme of their party.

The couple were joined by actor Jamie Dornan in the video, with Mike pointing to the camera whilst mouthing "Problem one, 9,000 f***ing miles", and Zara adding "Two! It's clearly more one-sided."

Chilli Chilton, who posted the video, joked in the caption: "Just my mates helping me out with promo!"

Royal fans responded with overwhelming enthusiasm to the video, with many praising the couple's down-to-earth nature.

Comments included "Still can't believe he's a member of the Royal Family.

"Absolutely love what he does. Keep up the funny work, Mike."

Another wrote: "I wish they would take up some public duties, even just the odd thing here and there, they are so relatable."

Others commented: "Zara is my fave royal of all time...!!!" and "The fact she's the Queen's granddaughter makes this x1000 better."

When one commenter noted: "I love the Tindalls, they couldn't care less and just bring the vibes," Chilli Chilton replied: "They are honestly the best."

The Tindalls, who married in 2011 and have three children - Mia, Lena and Lucas - have long been known as some of the "most relaxed" royals.

At Royal Ascot last week, Zara demonstrated her affectionate nature, greeting relatives, including King Charles, with hugs and kisses, and was seen with her arms wrapped around her cousin, Prince William.
