Sophie also demonstrated her commitment to sustainable royal fashion

The Duchess of Edinburgh wore £675 heels to visit a mountain bike park.

Sophie also demonstrated her commitment to sustainable royal fashion by reaching for her ivory Prada jacket.

The 60-year-old royal wore the structured designer piece whilst opening a mountain bike park in Northamptonshire on Monday, pairing it with a flowing botanical-print maxi skirt in soft ivory with muted pink and green tones.

The jacket, which features gold-tone buttons and sharp lapels, has become a wardrobe staple for Sophie.

She previously wore the same piece at The Royal British Legion's 80th Anniversary of D-Day Service of Remembrance in 2023.

Sophie completed her Northamptonshire look with her signature Jimmy Choo pumps, which retail for £675.

The royal owns multiple pairs of the same style, including a ballet pink version, reinforcing her approach to building a versatile wardrobe around key pieces.

At the Royal Windsor Flower Show over the weekend, the Duchess appeared alongside King Charles wearing a bright blue floral dress from ME+EM and a corduroy blazer from Frame, both from previous seasons. Her hair was styled in an elegant updo, showcasing dainty gold flower earrings.

The repeated wearing of designer pieces and mixing of past-season items demonstrates Sophie's thoughtful approach to royal dressing.

At the Royal Windsor Flower Show, Sophie's jewellery choices caught particular attention. She wore a pair of rose quartz stacking rings from Monica Vinader - the Siren Gemstone Small Ring in rose gold vermeil and rose quartz (£100) and the Siren Gemstone Ring in rose gold vermeil and rose quartz (£120).

The delicate pink-hued stones complemented the powder pink aesthetic trending throughout spring and summer. Monica Vinader has long been favoured by the Princess of Wales, who has repeatedly worn the brand's Siren Earrings in green onyx (£180) and donned their Nura Pearl necklace (£160) during a 2022 Copenhagen visit.

Queen Camilla has also embraced the British jewellery brand, selecting Monica Vinader's Goddess Coin Pendant Necklace (£233) for Sandringham's Flower Show in 2023.

Sophie's choice of the affordable rings, totalling just £220, exemplifies the royal high-low mix synonymous with modern royal style.

The Duchess's sustainable approach extends beyond rewearing designer pieces.

Her decision to style past-season clothing from ME+EM and Frame, combined with accessible jewellery choices, reflects a considered approach to fashion that balances royal elegance with environmental consciousness.

This week's engagements have showcased Sophie's ability to create polished looks through strategic wardrobe investments and thoughtful styling choices.
