Queen Letizia made a poignant fashion statement during her visit to Guadalupe with King Felipe VI on Wednesday.
The royal couple visited the historic town of Guadalupe in Cáceres province on Wednesday, 28th May, as part of celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of the King's proclamation.
Their visit formed part of activities organised to commemorate His Majesty's decade on the throne.
Letizia wore a floral shirt-dress by Spanish designer Yolanda Guillén. The Queen's choice carried particular significance as Guillén's store in Paiporta, Valencia, was completely destroyed during last year's devastating DANA floods.

Guadalupe, which was declared a Historic-Artistic Site and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993, provided the setting for the royal couple's latest joint public appearance during this anniversary year.
