A Horse Guard from the Coldstream Guards collapsed during the Brigade Major's Review at Horse Guards Parade in London on Thursday.
The guard had to be carried off on a stretcher due to the heat.
The incident occurred during the ceremonial parade where more than 1,000 soldiers and almost 200 horses from the Household Division were being inspected by the Brigade Major.
The guard fell to the ground whilst on parade in the sweltering conditions.

The collapse continues a worrying recurring pattern of military personnel fainting during ceremonial duties in hot weather.
In March, a member of the Irish Guards appeared to almost faint in a social media clip, swaying backwards and forward in full ceremonial uniform before being caught by another guard.

The guard was taking part in a private rehearsal ahead of the King's official birthday.
