King Charles and Queen Camilla have publicly shown their support for David Beckham at the Chelsea Flower Show, presenting him with a special King's Rose for his 50th birthday.

The former footballer attended the prestigious event on Monday, where he was warmly greeted by the royal couple.

The significant gesture comes amid reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been meeting with Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz during an ongoing Beckham family feud.

During their encounter, the King was heard asking Beckham if he had received the birthday gift. "You got it, didn't you?" Charles asked.

Beckham replied: "It was incredible! Thank you, it was very kind."

Queen Camilla also commented when meeting the football star, saying: "Nice to see you again, glad you got the roses."

Beckham told Her Majesty that he had a "perfect" but "busy weekend," adding it was "a lot of fun."

The King's Rose was named in honour of Charles, who is known for his love of horticulture.

The meeting between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz has reportedly taken place in California, with the Sussexes offering support to the young couple.

According to reports, Brooklyn, 26, did not attend any of his father's three 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month.

Sources claim that Harry offered Brooklyn his "unwavering support" during their dinner together.

One source told Mail Online: "Brooklyn knows how hurt David and Victoria were when Harry and Meghan accused them of briefing stories about them."

The parallels between the Beckham and Sussex family situations are striking, with sources saying Brooklyn believes he is suffering from "generational trauma" - language similar to that used by Harry and Meghan.

Both family rifts share other similarities, with Meghan and Nicola reportedly finding "common ground" over allegations of helping to split famous families.

A source told The Sun that during their dinner, "Nicola and Meghan also had a bit of a 'deep [and] meaningful' [chat] as obviously both women have been positioned in the media as home-wreckers."

The timing of the royal family's public support for David Beckham appears significant, coming just days after reports of Harry and Brooklyn's meeting emerged.

Last week, as rumours about a Brooklyn and Harry alliance gathered pace, the Princess of Wales was seen wearing a Victoria Beckham dress, seemingly indicating which side she supports.

Now, with King Charles and Queen Camilla's warm reception of David Beckham at the Chelsea Flower Show, royal watchers note the Windsor family appears to be making their allegiances clear through carefully crafted public appearances.

David Beckham and Prince Harry once shared a close friendship, with Beckham seen as a positive influence during Harry's younger days. The pair enjoyed nights out together, often accompanied by Prince William.

However, their relationship reportedly deteriorated significantly when Harry and Meghan accused David and Victoria Beckham of leaking stories about them to the media.

The Beckhams strongly denied these accusations, with sources indicating David was "absolutely furious" about the allegations, which occurred over five years ago but still cause upset.
