The Royal Family fears that Prince Harry will release a new book, it has been claimed.

The Duke of Sussex published his first autobiography titled Spare at the start of 2023.

The book was hugely successful and placed in the top ten best-selling books of last year.

Spare contained a plethora of attacks on the Royal Family and Buckingham Palace fears a sequel could be on its way.

Royal author Robert Hardman claims in his new book Charles III that the Palace noticed Harry left out large parts of his final years in the monarchy.

Hardman writes: "For the Palace, the most worrying aspect of the book was the omission of large chunks of more recent events."

He added: "It did not go unnoticed that Harry and Meghan’s wedding, their married life and their eventual departure from the royal world amounted to a small part – less than a fifth – of Prince Harry’s memoir.

"This suggested either a sequel or, perhaps a memoir by Meghan in due course."

Hardman also claims in his book that King Charles did not eat with Prince Harry on the night of the Queen’s death because he needed to prepare to console Britain.

It was reported by Palace officials that the King dined instead with his eldest son Prince William to have “vital but discreet discussions.”

Hardman writes: “In years gone by, such a moment would automatically have included his younger son, too.

“But not any more. This was clearly not an occasion for an opening up of hearts and minds with Prince Harry, particularly if he was still taking notes for his forthcoming book.

“Charles III needed a clear head and no distractions.”

The new biography, Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story, will be released on January 18 2024.
