Prince William was left seething after Prince Harry launched an attack he deemed "the lowest of low", a new book has claimed.
The relationship between the brothers has deteriorated significantly in recent years as the Duke of Sussex has heavily criticised the Royal Family since stepping away from the monarchy in 2020.
Royal author Robert Hardman wrote in his book titled Charles III: New King, New Court. The Inside Story, an interview Prince Harry gave with Netflix infuriated his brother.
During the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Netflix series, which was released in December 2022, Harry took a swipe at members of the Royal Family for marrying partners that fit the mould of the monarchy.

He said: "I think for so many people in the family, especially the men, there could be a temptation or an urge to marry someone who would fit the mould as opposed to someone you are destined to be with.
"The difference between making a decision with your head or your heart."
Hardman claims Prince William felt this was a "blatant attack" on his wife.
A friend of the Prince of Wales said: "On top of all the other breaches of trust, here was Harry making a blatant attack on Catherine."
The Prince and Princess of Wales are not on speaking terms with the Duke of Sussex.

They added that William felt Harry's comments were "the lowest of the low".
In November 2023, the Princess of Wales's work was criticised by royal author Omid Scobie.
Scobie told the Sunday Times regarding the Princess of Wales: "In the coverage of Kate we infantilize her massively so the bar is always lower.
"The small achievements that we’ve seen from the Princess of Wales wouldn’t perhaps be noticed if it was from another member of the royal family, but with Kate it’s like ‘wow!'"

An insider close to Prince William has said the criticism of Kate angered the royal.
A source told the Mail: "That will really wind William up."
They added: "He's immensely proud of what his wife has achieved.
"The princess has been the driving force behind a great deal of their work, particularly when it comes to bettering mental health."
