Sarah, Duchess of York marked the occasion by releasing a poignant video reflecting on her cancer journey.

Fergie, who currently resides in Royal Lodge with Prince Andrew, debuted on the social media app under the username @sarahtheduchess.

Sarah donned a casual ensemble for the clip, consisting of a denim jacket and an aqua-blue jumpsuit.

She sat down in a field to film the clip and captioned it: "My first ever TikTok!"

Fergie was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2023. Just months later, in January 2024, the mother-of-two was told she had malignant melanoma, an aggressive form of skin cancer.

The 65-year-old said she felt "hollow" and experienced "total abject fear" when she heard her breast cancer diagnosis.

Fergie added: "The drive [between hospitals] was 40 minutes and I didn't speak - I couldn't speak. It was very interesting for me not to speak.

"I couldn't express myself, I just shut down, I went back into [a] little girl. It was easier not to ask for support and just to deal with it because that's what I'm used to, that's what I was taught.

"It's only now that I am really proud of my scars, they're really important.

"I never thought you could free the shackles of your heart by cancer, by learning what it is to be able to talk right about what it feels like to ask for help, to surrender and to realise that everything is going to be okay. And you can find joy and you can not worry so much."

Sarah added the following caption: "One cancer diagnosis was bad enough but to go through all those emotions twice was a lot to handle.
