Queen Camilla, 76, looked sensational on Wednesday evening in a custom Dior midnight blue gown with a cape, designed exclusively by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
The King and Queen are currently in France for a three-day state visit, where they attempt to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
For Wednesday's state banquet, which was hosted by President Emmanuel Macron at the Palace of Versailles, all eyes were on Queen Camilla as she wore an iconic French brand to specifically pay tribute to the country she was visiting.
Royal commentator Katie Nicholl told GB News: "To wear that statement navy, to team it up with Brigitte's, and to wear Dior - she is there flying the flag for Britain and flying the flag for France.

"It's all part of this special relationship, so I think a word was had.
"I wonder also maybe if she had spoken to the Princess of Wales because Kate champions that sort of cape dress, and if you remember back to the Coronation we saw little Princess Charlotte wearing a cape dress too.
"It's got everything you would expect - a bit of drama, it's regal, I have to say I thought Camilla looked exquisite."

King Charles's wife also paid tribute to her late mother-in-law Queen Elizabeth II, by wearing a necklace that was in her collection.
The late Queen often wore the King George VI Sapphire Suite, which looked effortlessly regal on Camilla on Wednesday.
Dior took to Instagram to share three official photos of Queen Camilla wearing their custom design.
They captioned the first post saying: "For the state dinner held this evening at the Château de Versailles, Her Majesty Queen Camilla of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms graced the occasion in a regal silhouette.
