Catherine, Princess of Wales, has been lauded as "instantly likeable" and "grounded" by a former First Lady.
Jill Biden, who has been married to Joe since 1977, shared her first experience with Catherine when she travelled to the UK in 2021.
In an excerpt from her upcoming memoir, View From The East Wing, shared with People, Mrs Biden detailed her official trip along with the 46th President of the United States five years ago.
In the forthcoming publication, Mrs Biden reflects on the warm bond she developed with Catherine during engagements.
The memoir sheds light on personal exchanges between the two women, including advice the former First Lady offered to the mother of three about navigating life in the public eye while maintaining emotional well-being.
The pair first crossed paths in 2021 when Mrs Biden accompanied her husband, the then-President, to Britain for the G7 summit.
Their initial encounter took place at a primary school in Hayle, Cornwall, where they bonded over a shared passion for early years education.
Writing in her memoir, Mrs Biden recalled: "When Princess Kate and I cooed over rabbits at a primary school in West Cornwall, I found her instantly likeable, very unassuming. She made me feel at ease. She seemed so grounded."

The former First Lady also revealed her advice that she shared with the Princess of Wales.
"I encouraged her to keep a journal about her experiences," Mrs Biden added.
"She said she liked to draw and paint, but I said you can never have too many ways to privately express your feelings."

Following their Cornwall meeting, the pair collaborated on a joint article for CNN championing the cause of early childhood development.
In the piece, they argued that nations must fundamentally rethink their approach to the formative years of life.
"If we care about how children perform at school, how they succeed in their careers when they are older, and about their lifelong mental and physical health, then we have to care about how we are nurturing their brains, their experiences and relationships in the early years before school," they wrote.
Both women positioned early years education as one of the defining strategic issues of the era, suggesting that following scientific evidence could transform prospects for an entire generation.
Catherine has continued to champion this cause, and recently visited Italy, her first overseas tour since her cancer diagnosis, in a "fact-finding mission" for early childhood development.
Mrs Biden later visited the UK in 2023 for King Charles III's coronation, along with granddaughter Finnegan Biden, where she also met then-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
The youngster joked when attending the coronation: "How can they call Pop old? Look at most of the leaders."
