Princess Eugenie has been named patron of a new charity, just 11 days after her mother, Sarah Ferguson, was dramatically dropped from several organisations.
The Princess of York, 35, took to social media to announce the exciting news that she is joining Artswork - a charity "committed to empowering young people to lead, be changemakers and actively get involved and work within the arts and creative sector," according to its website.
Artswork said in a new statement: "We are thrilled to announce that Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie has become our new patron.
"Her support marks a significant moment in our mission to champion creativity and amplify the voices of children and young people.

The Princess of York studied History of Art at Newcastle University and works as the director of Hauser & Wirth Art Gallery in London, explaining her passion for the subject.

The statement accompanied several photographs of Eugenie engaging with young people partaking in an Artswork workshop.
The announcement that Eugenie is joining a charity as its patron comes just under two weeks after her mother, the Duchess of York, was dramatically axed by several organisations.
Julia's House, the Teenage Cancer Trust, the Children's Literacy Charity, Prevent Breast Cancer, and the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, among others, all dropped Fergie after a 2011 email she sent to Jeffrey Epstein was made public.
The email showed that Sarah called Epstein her "supreme friend".
Other charities, like the British Heart Foundation, also ended their associations with the Duchess.
Meanwhile, Sarah and Prince Andrew's eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, additionally stepped down from the charity Outward Bound Trust as its trustee.
The 37-year-old joined the charity in 2019 - the same year her father, the Duke of York, was forced to step down from royal duties after his car crash Newsnight interview.
Beatrice's late grandfather, Prince Philip, was a patron of the charity for more than 65 years.
A spokesman for Outward Bound Trust said: "The HRH Princess Beatrice has reached the end of her term as a trustee of the Outward Bound Trust.
"Her contribution has been greatly valued, and as such, further details of HRH’s new role with our charity will be announced in due course."
Despite all the drama surrounding the York family in recent weeks, Princess Eugenie's promotion was received with praise on social media.
