Princess Eugenie has opened up about how her mother, Sarah Ferguson, helped her overcome feeling "terrified" and "ashamed" of her scoliosis scar.

The royal shared the touching memory during an appearance on Cressida Bonas's podcast 'Lessons From Our Mothers'.


She revealed intimate details about her mother's unwavering support during childhood health challenges.

"I had scoliosis when I was younger," Eugenie said. "I had a big operation when I was 12. My mum basically moved into the hospital with me and was there every waking hour."
