The Prince of Wales and his daughter, 10, travelled to Basel to support the Lionesses

Princess Charlotte debuted a new addition to her lucky charms in Switzerland on Sunday.

The royal donned three friendship bracelets during the Women's Euros final between Spain and England.


Charlotte wore a purple string bracelet, as well as a green and white bracelet and a pink bracelet.

The princess, who is known to love the sentimental jewellery, shares this passion with her elder brother, Prince George, who wore a bracelet during his 12th portrait.

Prince William has also previously sported a bracelet with the word 'papa' on it.

On Sunday, Prince William appeared to playfully tease Princess Charlotte before handing her a winners medal following the Lionesses' triumph in the Euro 2025 final.

The Lionesses won the match on penalties after it finished 1-1 after extra time.

As Patron of the Football Association, Prince William was on the pitch to present medals to both the Spanish and English players after the match had concluded.

The Prince of Wales appeared to have a spare medal left over after the presentation which he gave to his daughter.

Moments before handing the medal to Princess Charlotte, the Prince of Wales was pictured smiling as the young royal reached for a medal.

Following the match, Princess Charlotte and Prince William issued a rare joint statement congratulating the Lionesses.

King Charles and Princess Eugenie also issued separate statement praising the Lionesses after their historic victory.

The statement read: "What a game! @lionesses, you are the champions of Europe and we couldn’t be prouder of the whole team. Enjoy this moment @England."

Marking a royal first, the congratulations were signed off: "W & Charlotte."
