Princess Charlotte arrives in Switzerland with Prince William for rare royal engagement
The trip is a royal first for the 10-year-old Princess

Princess Charlotte has joined Prince William in Basel, Switzerland as the royals prepare to cheer on the Lionesses.
The 10-year-old royal will make her first public appearance at a football game with her father, who is normally accompanied by Prince George.
"The Prince of Wales has arrived in Switzerland. Joining him to cheer on the Lionesses this afternoon is Princess Charlotte," said Kensington Palace.
The father and daughter combo will be cheering on England's woman's football team as they take on world champions Spain in the final of the 2025 Euros on Sunday evening.
Prince George is usually seen by his father's side at footballing events, previously joining William as they spectated their beloved club Aston Villa's bittersweet Champion's League campaign earlier this year.
However, this time Charlotte will lead the next generations of royals at the St Jakob-Park stadium in Switzerland.

The Lionesses will be hoping to put right the 2023 World Cup final, which saw Spain's women triumph in a 1-0 over England.
Ahead of Sunday's match, Prince William issued rousing words of encouragement for the Lionesses.
"Good luck to the Lionesses tomorrow," William began in the message.
He continued that: "The nation is so proud you are through to the final, after some stunning comebacks!"

William concluded that: "We are all cheering you on!"
The Prince of Wales signed off the post with a simple "W" - signifying the message had come from him personally.
Reacting to William England’s 2-1 triumph over Italy during Tuesday’s semi-final, William said: "Brilliant performance @Lionesses! One game from glory!"
His statement was accompanied by King Charles’s message of congratulations, and good luck, ahead of the final.

The King said: "My wife and I join all our family in wishing you, the proud Lionesses, our warmest congratulations on reaching the final of the U.E.F.A EURO tournament.

"Knowing the Lionesses' fighting spirit, I suspect we are in for another thrilling encounter on Sunday.
