Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II stood together unified at an important twinning ceremony in Monaco.

The couple's marriage has been the subject of intense speculation over recent months, however, the prince and princess looked brilliant together at the event.

The ceremony officially celebrated the twinning of Monaco and Dolceacqua at the town hall on November 3.

This event was attended by the Mayor of Monaco, Georges Marsan, and the Mayor of Dolceacqua, Fulvio Gazzola, as well as the Prince and Princess of Monaco.

The two mayors signed the twinning oath in the hall in the presence of several Monegasque and Italian authorities.

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene were presented with the 2023 twinning act after the twinning ceremony.

They were also presented with the original loyalty oath dating from 1523 at the Prince’s Palace.

The new Monegasque postage stamp was issued on November 3, therefore, it was gifted to the Princely couple after the ceremony.

For the event, Charlene wore a Chloe cashmere and wool blend blazer in tan.

The £1,835 item has the following description: "When Chloé does suiting, the result is as effortless as you'd expect.

"This tan blazer is impeccably tailored from a soft cashmere and wool blend with a partial satin lining for easy layering.

"The back vent relaxes the straight shape."

The princess paired the blazer with Chloe wool and cashmere-blend wide-leg trousers in tan.

The trousers retail for a further £1,005.

Their description reads: "Chloé's pants may look like classic tailored styles, but the soft wool and cashmere-blend fabric means they're as soft and comfortable as your favourite joggers.

"They're designed to sit high on the waist and have raised seams running through the front of the wide legs."
