Princess Charlotte and Prince Albert of Monaco have announced a state visit by French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte on 7-8 June 2025.
The royal couple shared the announcement on social media alongside a photograph of them standing with the Macrons.
The Instagram post stated: "State visit to the Principality of Monaco by the President of the French Republic and Mrs. Brigitte Macron on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June 2025."
The announcement comes just days after Brigitte Macron appeared to slap the French President in a viral video whilst disembarking a plane in Vietnam.

The heads of state will hold a private audience ahead of a state dinner taking place in the evening in the Throne Room of the Prince's Palace.
Sunday's programme will focus on the Blue Economy and Finance Forum, beginning with a visit to the Larvotto site of SeaWergie, a company specialising in thalassothermia.

The visit will conclude with the leaders travelling to Nice for the third United Nations Conference on the Ocean.
The announcement follows recent controversy surrounding a viral video that appeared to show Brigitte Macron pushing her husband whilst they disembarked a plane in Vietnam.
The video, shot by an Associated Press camera operator, shows the French president appearing in the doorway of the plane at the start of a visit to Hanoi.
His wife's hand appears to shove him, causing him to step back before recovering and waving.

Brigitte Macron's body is not visible in the footage, which quickly spread across social media platforms.
Emmanuel Macron denied reports of an altercation with his wife following the incident.
Speaking to reporters in Hanoi, the French president said he and his wife were "joking around, as we do quite often".
Macron described the gesture as playful, explaining that Brigitte's actions were not aggressive but rather part of their usual banter.
The president's comments came after the video sparked widespread speculation about tensions between the couple during their official visit to Vietnam.
