The Monegasque royals released their own Christmas card after Kate and William were mocked by fans

Princess Charlene of Monaco released her official Christmas card after Prince Louis’ "missing" finger left fans confused.

The Prince and Princess of Monaco released their family Christmas card, featuring their twin children Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, both nine.

Prince Albert II, Charlene, and their twins posed inside the Prince's Palace of Monaco where the couple tied the knot 12 years ago.

Charlene, 45, looked glamorous in a velvet off-the-shoulder floor-length gown and a simple white bracelet.

In comparison, the Prince and Princess of Wales wore white shirts and jeans for their Christmas card to match their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five.

Royal fans dubbed Charlene's Christmas card more "festive" than the Waleses', which was also mocked for an apparent Photoshop blunder.

In Kate and William's Christmas card, Prince Louis seemed to have a finger missing in the official portrait that was released.

One fan wrote on social media: "What has happened to Prince Louis' finger?" Another said: "Excuse me but where is Prince Louis' finger?"

In contrast, fans loved Charlene and Albert's card, with one posting: "It’s lovely. Charming and festive." Another noted: "The only royal Christmas card."

In addition, someone said: "I wish @KensingtonRoyal would give us a card like that. Christmas royal vibes!"

A royal watcher commented: "Finally! The first real Christmas card!"

One social media user posted: "Charlene’s outfits have been amazing lately.

"Every year, the poshness increases. I love it so much. It's perfection all through."
