New pictures of Princess Beatrice from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, have been released, showing the royal mingling in circles that included former Prime Minister Theresa May.

Sonal Ambani, a sculptor, took to Instagram with pictures alongside the Princess of York and the former Prime Minister.

She said: "Davos was a beautiful blend of meaningful conversations and conferences, inspiring women, and moments of joy woven through shared laughter and genuine connection.

"A space where ideas flowed, energy multiplied, and togetherness made the experience truly special.

"Beyond the panels and dialogues, it was the spirit of community and shared purpose that stood out.

"A reminder that progress feels most powerful when built together."

Ms Ambani was photographed alongside Beatrice, and in separate photographs, she was joined by Mrs May.

Beatrice, 37, who serves as director at Purpose Economy Intelligence Ltd, chose a wool-blend blazer paired with a matching pleated midi skirt from Zara for the gathering held between January 19 and 23.

She completed the outfit with a grey Sandro coat featuring a tie waist and utility pocket, alongside the Strathberry Mosaic Nano Bag in black.

This was the same style carried by the Princess of Wales in white at her 2023 Christmas service.

Personal stylist Leanne Jones highlighted the timeliness of Beatrice's outfit choice, noting that grey is emerging as a key shade for Spring/Summer, with grey skirts featuring prominently on SS26 catwalks, particularly at Chanel.

"It's a shade that naturally lends itself to workwear and preppy youthful looks, but Beatrice has given it a thoroughly modern update with this chic, confident spin," Ms Jones told Hello!.

The stylist observed that by combining tonal pieces, the royal achieved a tailored appearance without seeming overly formal.

"There's often a misconception that grey and pleated skirts are dull or corporate, yet this outfit proves how effortlessly elegant the combination can be," she added.

Selecting Zara pieces for an event centred on global economic and environmental challenges seemed to be a quiet endorsement of sustainable fashion practices, according to observers.

This was not the first outing for the pleated skirt, which Beatrice previously wore to Poppy Delevingne's Della Vite Valentine's lunch at The Ivy Chelsea Garden in February 2024.

On that occasion, she styled the item with a white shirt and grey jumper vest, completing the outfit with opaque tights and black loafers.
