The Princesses of York are not currently working members in King Charles's monarchy

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have been warned by a PR expert that any candid admissions about the Royal Family would send their popularity spiralling downwards.

The York sisters are not currently working members of the Royal Family, and therefore any appearances with more senior members tend to be sporadic.

Beatrice and Eugenie's father is Prince Andrew, who stepped down from royal duties in 2019 due to discussing his links with Jeffrey Epstein on Newsnight.

Andy Barr, a PR expert, spoke exclusively to GB News to explain how the princesses can keep their popularity high, especially as it relates to being the daughters of the Duke of York.

He said: "Their popularity is dependent on them carrying on being selective about their public appearances and not getting drawn into any public conversations about the inner goings-on of the Royal Family."

Both Beatrice and Eugenie have shared a few details from their private lives over the years, but Barr argues that there is still a lot of "intrigue" surrounding the York Princesses.

He continued: "They have an air of fun and intrigue about them that has kept them of interest to the public.

"It is very much carrying on doing as they currently do to keep their popularity high."

This comes as the sisters received a warm reception on Christmas Day at Sandringham with the Royal Family.

According to a style expert, Beatrice and Eugenie showed "solidarity" with their "neutral" outfits.

They were joined on the royal walkabout by their mother Sarah Ferguson and their father, Prince Andrew.

Eugenie tied the knot with Jack Brooksbank in 2018, and the couple have two sons, August, two, and seven-month-old Ernest.

Meanwhile, Beatrice, 35, married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2020 and the couple have a daughter named Sienna, two.

Edoardo also has a seven-year-old son Christopher Woolf (Wolfie) from his previous relationship.
