The King and Queen led the Royal Family at Windsor for Easter

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie dazzled in a surprise Easter appearance to support their parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

Beatrice, 36, and Eugenie, 35, made a surprise appearance on Easter Sunday, joining the Royal Family for the traditional service at St George’s Chapel.

The two princesses, who are often seen attending key royal events, were photographed entering the chapel for the annual Easter service with their husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Their attendance at this year’s celebration was a welcomed sight for royal watchers, many of whom were eager to see the younger generation of royals take part in the family’s Easter traditions.

The princesses, known for their close-knit bond with the late Queen Elizabeth II, appeared in high spirits as they participated in the service with the King and Queen, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, as well as other senior members of the Royal Family.

King Charles and Queen Camilla were front and centre at the service, as usual, continuing their role as the monarchy’s senior figures.

Despite the absence of the Prince William and Princess Kate, who are spending Easter at their Norfolk residence with their children, Beatrice and Eugenie’s presence added a youthful touch to the family’s gathering.

The Princesses of York have made fewer public appearances in recent months, but their surprise presence at Windsor reaffirmed their ongoing commitment to royal duties.

Their involvement in this Easter service came after several significant royal engagements in the past year, including their participation in the King’s Coronation and the Queen’s memorial events.

Beatrice and Eugenie’s appearances are often seen as a nod to the future of the monarchy, especially as they continue to forge their own paths while still representing the Royal Family at major events.

The sisters have kept a relatively low profile but remain beloved figures for their down-to-earth nature and charity work.

As the Royal Family gathered for Easter at Windsor, the presence of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie highlighted the enduring strength of the family’s bond, showcasing the younger generation’s readiness to step up in support of the monarchy’s traditions.

Princess Beatrice had a tough start to the year after her daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose, was born premature.

Weighing just four pounds and five ounces, the baby was born on January 22 earlier this year.

Athena joins big sister, Sienna, and big brother, Wolfie, in her growing family.
