Princess Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were beaming this weekend as their two-year-old daughter shone at the wedding of one of the Princess's long-time friends.

Sienna, who is set to celebrate her third birthday this September, was a part of the young bridal party at Marissa Montgomery and Jesse Brown at Chelsea Physic Garden, a gorgeous botanical garden in leafy West London on Saturday.

Beatrice, 35, Edoardo, 40, and the latter's eight-year-old son, Christopher Woolf, were seen at the exclusive event alongside the Princess's mother Sarah, the Duchess of York, and Australian actress Rebel Wilson.

Princess Beatrice was sporting a floral blue Erdem dress - alongside, temporarily, a floral crown, worn for the most part by her daughter.

Wilson, 44, posted footage of the exclusive event to Instagram, in which guests could be seen jubilantly celebrating with the newlyweds in a smartly decked-out marquee in the botanical garden.

The "Pitch Perfect" star also shared an image of her, her fiancee Ramona Arguma, the Duchess of York and Sue Bownds - all four of whom were seen smiling standing before a garden picnic in the background on the sunny Saturday.

Both Edoardo and Princess Beatrice also shone in the sun last week, as the royal pair made their way to Royal Ascot for a week of racing festivities.

Beatrice was seen donning a floral pink dress and matching headgear as she arrived at the racecourse in Berkshire on June 19 where she met with cousin Zara Tindall.

There had been a sizeable royal contingent at the grandstand on Wednesday - despite the absence of the King, who would appear later in the week, and his daughter-in-law the Princess of Wales.

And just days earlier, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Princess Beatrice, who tied the knot on July 17, 2020, had been pictured travelling to Sweden for the Brilliant Minds programme - where Beatrice was acting as a moderator.

Princess Beatrice, 35, shared the stage with singer Ellie Goulding, 37, one of the speakers at the keynote event.

The royal mother-of-one was introduced as "Beatrice York, Founder BY-EQ and Vice-President Partnerships and Strategy at Afiniti" under the list of moderators.

But the pair's public appearances follow claims by one royal commentator that some senior figures are "keen for the York family to stay under the radar".

The family is weathering a dearth of working royals in the wake of Princess Kate's drop-off in official engagements while her cancer treatment and recovery rolls on.

And while the Princesses of York have been mooted as the most likely candidates to undertake public duties in the absence of established working royals.

Royal biographer Andrew Lownie told the Express: "The Firm need more working royals but the daughters are young mothers and have careers. Eugenie spends much time in Portugal so not ideal."

He added: "There's a hope the York family, in general, will stay under the radar."
