Princess Anne visited a lingerie company in South Wales in her role as president of the UK Fashion and Textile Association.
The Princess Royal, 75, was photographed unveiling a plaque in front of underwear at Edge o’ Beyond, a luxury lingerie company, known for its use of sustainable materials.
During the tour, she heard how the brand struggled to find strong enough wires for bras in larger sizes.
Having recently visited a British mattress firm that makes its own steel springs, Anne quipped that Edge o’ Beyond should ask for advice on how to make its own wire supports.

Naomi De Haan, founder of the company, said the Princess was “very cool, very interested in everything”, telling the Telegraph that she “came across as very feminist”.
Among the topics of conversation were how they made corsets, now that whale bone is not used, and the problem of “censorship of the female body” on social media, making it difficult for the company to advertise.

The visit concluded in the factory cafeteria, where Princess Anne was presented with flowers by Ms De Haan’s two eldest sons.
Ms De Haan told the publication she did not expect the Princess Royal to spend time in the cafeteria, but she was happy to unveil a plaque surrounded by sets of bras and knickers.
Speaking about the visit afterwards, Ms De Haan told the publication: “It was an immense honour to welcome Her Royal Highness to our atelier.
“Her deep understanding of the fashion and textile industry and her genuine curiosity were inspiring for our whole team.

Another quipped: "What an incredible day! I think you need a little crown on your logo now."
A third wrote: "Congratulations on over a decade of success! Maybe a Royal Warrant soon?"
A fourth joked: "I need that poster in my room", while someone else cheekily asked: "Was she given any samples?"
