"I have also seen the growing need for support of this kind, and it is because of this increasing demand that I am delighted that Child Bereavement UK and Winston’s Wish are joining forces to expand their impact.
“They have recognised that together they can do so much more, and I commend them both for taking this bold step to reach more people and help to reduce the long-term challenges that unresolved grief can cause,” he concluded.

Elsewhere, William was conducting another role as a major organisation's patron as he attended the FA Cup final clash between Manchester City and Crystal Palace.
The game saw the underdog South London club triumph over the northern giants in a 1-0 upset, following an early 16th minute goal from 26-year-old Eagles ace Eberechi Eze.
As patron of the Football Association, Prince William presented Palace with their trophy and hung runner's up medals over the heads of the City players.
