Hodgkinson's main priority this season is winning gold at the World Championships in Tokyo, having previously won silver in 2022 and 2023.
Former Formula One driver Martin Brundle was also honoured at Windsor Castle on Tuesday.
Brundle, who has become known to a new wave of F1 fans through his grid interviews, received his OBE.
He raced in Formula One from 1984 to 1996, achieving nine podium finishes.
Brundle has since become a fixture of F1 coverage, working with ITV, the BBC and Sky Sports since 2012.
