The 43-year-old heir to the throne was filmed on his mobile attempting to zoom in on the victorious squad when a call interrupted him. Without a moment's pause, he swiped the notification away and returned to filming.

Supporters praised the future king for his relatable behaviour. "Haha, priorities! Prince William ignoring the call like the rest of us when our team finally wins something big," one fan commented.

In the immediate aftermath of the final whistle, William celebrated intensely with his inner circle.

In a lighthearted moment, Edward and his 16-year-old son Jake were spotted playfully patting William on the head.
The prince was eager to share the moment with fellow Villa supporters beyond his immediate group, beckoning fans over to join the celebrations.
Mat Kendrick and Dan Rolinson, who host the Claret & Blue Podcast, were stunned when William summoned them by name.

When Mr Kendrick drew attention to fans flooding onto the pitch, the prince responded: "I was tempted to go down there, but I thought, 'Let's let everyone else have their moment.' This is about the players, the team and the fans. This is really important."
Mr Rolinson playfully suggested they go dancing in the fountains together, prompting William to laugh and reply: "You lead the way, mate. I'll follow you."
