Prince William is keen on promoting his royal cousins, Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, when he becomes king, royal sources have claimed.
The Prince of Wales, 43, is understood to share King Charles's belief in a slimmed-down monarchy, whilst still recognising his cousins' strengths.
As a result, William is expected to take a more relaxed approach to slimming down the Royal Family than his father, 76.
The father-of-three is thought to be keen on having an extended number of Royal Family members carrying out duties, especially amid the absences of Prince Andrew, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle.

These extended Royal Family members include Princess Beatrice, 36, Princess Eugenie, 35, and Zara Tindall, 44.
Prince William believes that not utilising their strengths is a "missed opportunity", according to a source.
A former royal aide told Radar Online: "William has noticed how engaged and loyal his cousins are.
"He's open to the idea of expanding their public roles, especially in areas like youth, health, and sports."

Royal commentator Richard Eden previously wrote in the Mail: "Although Prince William still believes in a 'slimmed-down monarchy,' he is increasingly aware of the hard work of his extended family."
William has previously spoken about wanting to make a "tangible impact" with his royal work, as opposed to focusing on the more ceremonial engagements.
One source continued to tell the outlet: "He’s not interested in endless ribbon-cutting.
"When he visits a project, he wants to walk away knowing something tangible happened, funding delivered, lives improved. That's what motivates him now."
