Prince William 'must adhere' to Forest Lodge rules as he is 'banned' from riding e-scooter

Prince William has been banned from riding his e-scooter around the Windsor Great Park, where his “forever home” Forest Lodge is, it has been claimed.
The Prince and Princess of Wales made the move after leaving thier former home of Adelaide Cottage last year.
The Grade II-listed building has been marked as their “forever home,” as they are keen to make a “fresh start” after a turbulent few years.
The move does present the future king with a drawback, however, because rules for the royal estate state e-scooters “are not permitted” within the grounds “for safety reasons and traffic management".

An insider revealed “William used to love his e-scooter to get around the castle as there was no ban".
“But of course he's more than happy and prepared to adhere to the rules on e-scooters in Windsor Great Park,” they told The Sun.
Reports circulated in July 2023 William had purchased an e-scooter in aims to help the journey to see King Charles.
He was most recently spotted using the scooter in the Apple+ series The Reluctant Traveller.
The prince is seen effortlessly riding into shot before coming to a controlled stop and dismounting by the show’s host, Eugene Levy.
Mr Levy asked William: “This is your mode of transport?” To which the future monarch confirmed it is while “on the grounds".

| GETTY“I have a very low threshold for adventure, so I've actually never been on one,” Mr Levy revealed in response.
William responded: “It gets around nicely, it's quite fun.”
The Walses had lived at Adelaide Cottage for many years, but a source revealed: “Adelaide Cottage really does have some difficult memories associated with it, sadly.

“They have experienced some of their most challenging times there... The family are really happy about this [move] and excited for a fresh start.”
The ban comes after William and Kate dominated recent popularity rankings among the Royal Family.
Fresh polling data from YouGov shows between 74 and 77 per cent of the British public holding favourable views of the couple.
