Prince Harry has been compared to an unexpected video game character as Meghan Markle issued a subtle dig.
The Duchess of Sussex sparked controversy after comparing her marriage with Prince Harry to the video game Super Mario Brothers during a podcast interview released on Monday.
Meghan, 43, made the unusual comparison whilst speaking to her friend Jamie Kern Lima, CEO of IT Cosmetics, in what was her first ever podcast interview.
During the interview, Meghan reflected on the seven years of her relationship with Harry, 40, and likened their journey to the Nintendo game.

"H, that man loves me so much, and you know, look what we've built," Meghan said. "We built a beautiful life, and we have two healthy, beautiful children."
She continued: "I always think about it like the end of Super Mario Brothers when you get to the final level, and what's the goal?
"They're like slay the dragon, save the princess. That's my husband."
The implication is that the "dragon" refers to the Royal Family, which Harry and Meghan fled when they stepped down from their senior roles in 2020.
The Duchess also suggested they are now enjoying a "honeymoon period" after going "immediately into the trenches together" early in their relationship.
When asked if she would be married to Prince Harry "forever", Meghan simply replied: "Yes."
Elsewhere in the interview, Meghan revealed a touching moment involving her children, Archie, five, and Lilibet, three.
She became emotional whilst reading a note from them which said: "From Archie and Lili via Papa.

The Duchess noted: "So sweet. I also love that it's mummy, instead of mommy, which is very British."
Blinking back tears, she added: "I wasn't expecting this, they're just so great."
