Prince Harry must '100 per cent' face the consequences of his actions, the ex-Thatcher aide vowed

The Heritage Foundation's Nile Gardiner has called for Prince Harry to testify before Congress over whether the royal disclosed his alleged drug use on his US visa.

Speaking on The Late Show Live, Mr Gardiner said that Andrew was being used as a "political weapon" by the Democrats, who have demanded he testifies before Congress over his links to Jeffrey Epstein.

Responding to Ben Leo's suggestion that Andrew could be being used as a scapegoat for other Epstein-linked figures, Mr Gardiner said: "I do think that Andrew's being used as a political weapon here by the Democrats.

"I do think actually, there's a far stronger case for Prince Harry to be called to testify before Congress about his illegal drug use.

"After all, he was allowed entry into the United States. That's a very big issue."

Giving context to the allegation, Bev Turner said: "I'm sure everyone will remember this story about Harry saying in his book, Spare, that he had taken drugs."

The GB News presenter then asked Mr Gardiner why he felt compelled to question the validity of Prince Harry's visa.

The former aide to Margaret Thatcher said: "We are appealing to the Trump administration to release Prince Harry's immigration records because he admitted to extensive illegal drug use in his own book, Spare, and Prince Harry was granted entry to the United States.

"Normally, of course, if you've used illegal drugs, that's a criminal offence and it's very difficult to enter into the United States.

"Was he given preferential treatment or did he lie on his application form?

"That is a federal criminal offence that would result in deportation or five years in jail."

Mr Gardiner added that the "stakes are very high for Prince Harry".

Mr Gardiner, a British-American dual national, said that the "fight goes on" for the American people to get the truth on the matter.

The Heritage Foundation has sued the the State Department for the release of Prince Harry's immigration records.

Concluding the discussion, Ben said that the "the precedent has now been set" for "stripping titles", and asked Mr Gardiner whether Prince Harry should suffer the same fate as his disgraced uncle.

Mr Gardiner said: "Harry should lose his his title, 100 per cent".

In an interview with GB News previously, Mr Gardiner said that "It matters to the American public whether people lie or not on their visa applications.

“I do think that no one should receive preferential treatment because of their celebrity status.

“At the Heritage Foundation, we believe in the full enforcement of the rule of law, and Prince Harry should receive the same scrutiny as everyone else.

“This argument that it should be treated as a private matter is complete nonsense. He should be held to account as a public figure.”
