The Duke of Sussex played polo with Nacho Figueras over the weekend

Prince Harry's friend shared his heartwarming "dream" for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as he is set to star in a Netflix series.

Nacho Figueras, 47, played against the Duke of Sussex in the Royal Salute Polo Challenge last Friday in Santa Barbara.

The yearly occasion serves as a fundraiser for Sentebale, a nonprofit organisation Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho formed in 2006 to assist underprivileged youth in Southern Africa.

Figueras talked candidly about his personal friendship with the duke and his "dream" for the future of their children.

The polo player, who has known Prince Harry since 2007, expressed his hope that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will carry on their father's passion for the game.

When asked if he'd like Harry's children to play against his own, Figueras said: "I really hope so, I hope that Archie and Lili get to love horses as much as he does.

"I know my kids love it and they love to play. It would be a dream that one day we all get to play polo together."

In 2000, Figueras and his wife, Delfina Blaquier, a photographer, welcomed their first child.

Figueras heralded Prince Harry on Instagram after the Sentebale team's victory, praising his "commitment to making a difference" as "truly inspiring".

The father-of-four wrote: "What an incredible day yesterday at the Grand Champions Polo Club, It was a day not just of sport, but of significant purpose.
