Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 'gateway back into Royal Family' torn apart

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be returning to the royal household anytime soon, according to an inside source.
The couple stepped down as working members of the monarchy in 2020 and now live in California with their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Claims that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had reconnected with King Charles's brother Prince Edward and his wife Sophie in a move that could open a "gateway back into the royal household", were reported in Ok! Magazine earlier this week.
Commentator Mark Boardman said: "Meghan and Harry have reconnected with Sophie and Edward, and this renewed connection may serve as their gateway back into the royal household."
The Sussexes now live in California with their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

However, a source has slapped down the claims, saying there is "no truth to this speculation."
The source told Page Six: "There have been no conversations between the families mentioned regarding the matters being suggested, or in this case fabricated."
Last week royal commentator Jennie Bond said Princess Kate has been leaning on the support of Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh following her public rift with the Sussexes.
Bond said: "Sometimes it seems strange to realise that these are two different generations of royals as they seem much closer.
A source has slapped down the claims, saying there is "no truth to this speculation."

"But, especially after all that has happened - not only with the Queen’s death but with Harry and Meghan leaving and Andrew getting 'sacked' - the two couples have formed a tight bond.
"I think William and Catherine feel they can confide in Edward and Sophie and there are so few people a royal can entrust with their thoughts and feelings.
"Both Sophie and Catherine have a common touch…perhaps because they lived 'normal' lives before marrying."

The two couples live very near to each other, with Kate and William at Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Castle Estate and Sophie and Edward in Bagshot Park, not too far away.
The Prince and Princess of Wales and currently not on speaking terms with the Sussexes after multiple public attacks from the couple.
In January 2023, Prince Harry released his autobiography titled Spare, which contained attacks on Prince William and Princess Kate.
