Prince Harry ready to 'turn his back' on Meghan Markle's showbiz life

It comes after Meghan's Spotify contract was dumped after just one series and while the Duchess is seemingly searching for her next move, it is thought Harry is happy taking a back step.

Meghan has since signed a new deal with celebrity management WME, which is reported to be a solo deal without Harry.

She is said to be looking at various commercial endorsements in areas such as food, wellness and fashion.

It has been claimed that Meghan was left “distraught” after being dropped by Spotify and facing criticism from the streaming service’s top brass.

Bill Simmons, who holds a leadership role at Spotify, branded the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as “grifters” and suggested his involvement in initial negotiations would have avoided certain problems.

In comparison, Harry is rarely seen in the celebrity circles that his wife has been accustomed to in the US, with Harry appearing to keep away from the cameras, according to the Daily Mail.

The publisher added that his actions are showing he is preparing to turn his back on his wife's apparent famed lifestyle.

Old friends of the prince say he has "disappeared" from their lives.

Socially, he is reportedly involved with a group of polo-playing friends at the Los Padres team in Santa Barbara.

It emerged earlier this week that the Duke is allegedly ready to go solo on a trip to Africa for a documentary.

And he is also said to be close to completing a documentary, which has been commissioned by Netflix, about his charity for servicemen, Heart Of Invictus.

Harry has recently been spotted celebrating the Fourth of July with his two-year-old daughter Lilibet.

It is thought Meghan and Archie also attended the celebrations.
