Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'under strain' after Duke of Sussex 'alienated by friends and family'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been put under strain due to the fallout of the Duke of Sussex's autobiography Spare, according to a royal commentator.
In January, Harry released the memoir which contained several attacks on senior members of the Royal Family.
The Duke of Sussex undertook several TV interviews to promote the book, noticeably without Meghan Markle by his side.
Royal commentator Katie Nicholl has claimed that the "pretty epic" reaction to Harry's book has put pressure on the couple as friends and family have turned against him.

Nicholl told Page Six_:_ "My experience with Harry and Meghan – whenever I’ve been with them as a couple, who are very, very close – [have] a sort of spark between them that always struck me as being very authentic.
"However, there have been rumours circulating in recent months that the fallout from Spare, which is pretty epic for Prince Harry who had Britain really turned against him, his home country; he’s really not welcome here.
"[The book has] left a bad taste in people’s mouths.
"It’s further alienated him from his friends and his family and I think, inevitably, that has put a strain on them."
It comes as a royal commentator told GB News that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry returning to the Royal Family fold would be a "humiliation" for the couple.

Since stepping down from the monarchy, Meghan and Harry have launched multiple public attacks on the Royal Family including through TV interviews and in Spare.
However, several reports have stated that Meghan and Harry are coming under increasing financial pressure to fund their lifestyle as lucrative deals begin to dry up.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News that Meghan and Harry performing a U-turn and rejoining the monarchy as working members would be a "humiliation" for the couple.
Fizwilliams said: "This would be one of the most bizarre events in royal history if they did return after all the attacks. It would be a humiliation for Meghan and Harry."
He added: "The idea that after everything that has happened that Meghan and Harry could just walk back in is beyond extraordinary."
