The Duke of Sussex is continuing his mother's legacy with his support for The Diana Awards

Prince Harry attended the Diana Awards in Las Vegas on Tuesday, missing his son Archie's sixth birthday celebration.

The Duke of Sussex travelled to the American city for the event whilst his son marked the occasion at home in Montecito with his mother, Meghan Markle.


The Diana Award, established in memory of Harry's late mother Princess Diana, has the support of both her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.

The Las Vegas appearance was part of a special initiative launch focused on youth leadership.

The onstage discussion featured two young Diana Legacy Award recipients - Sikander 'Sonny' Khan from Michigan, USA and Christina Williams from Jamaica.

The conversation focused on youth leadership and creating pathways for young people in the workplace.

These discussions explored how employers can proactively help young people enter and thrive professionally.
