Sentebale is an African-based charity that the Duke of Sussex and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho co-founded in 2006

Prince Harry could face further action over claims made against him by leaders of Sentebale.

The Charity Commission concluded its compliance case into Sentebale with a Regulatory Action Plan to address governance weaknesses.

The report found there was confusion over roles, especially around powers delegated to the chair, and lacked proper internal complaints policies with no clear processes to resolve disputes.

The Commission did not find evidence of widespread bullying, harassment, misogyny, or misconduct by Prince Harry or by any other trustees but did acknowledge that several people involved felt they had been mistreated, and that those feelings should not be dismissed.

However, the charity could opt to pursue action independently.

A source told the Mail that a decision on whether to proceed would be taken by the Sentebale trustees and executive management.

The insider added that Sentable is focusing on delivering help to clients rather than taking further action at this point.

In a statement, Sentebale said earlier this week: "The Charity Commission is explicitly clear, including in its public guidance, that it is not the Commission's responsibility to adjudicate or mediate internal disputes.

"This would include individual allegations of bullying, harassment, misogyny, misogynoir [misogyny against black women] etc.

"As a result, the Commission has not investigated any individual allegations and therefore has not made any findings in relation to individuals, including Prince Harry.

"The issues not investigated by the Commission can and may be dealt with through avenues more appropriate than the Commission."
