Prince Harry is to be inducted into the Aviation Hall of Fame

The Duke of Sussex, 39, is to be inducted into the Living Legends of Aviation for his work during his time as a pilot in the British Army.

Prince Harry is to be inducted into the Aviation Hall of Fame alongside famous astronauts like Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong.

Harry will be inducted next Friday at a glam awards ceremony hosted by actor and aviation ambassador John Travolta in Beverly Hills, California and where VIP tables can cost £30 thousand.

Speaking to GBNews today Mike Parry and Aaron Bastani discussed whether The Duke should be given the honour.

Bastani said: "I sort of feel sorry for him because Harry just wanted to serve in the armed forces.

"Probably a little bit of anonymity and razzle a few days a week, he didn't want much and that was taken away from him.

"That's one part of it. But I think also this isn't necessarily the life that he wanted.

"But does he deserve to be called a living legend of aviation? Well, I think that's probably a little bit of a stretch.

"And again, I sort of feel sorry for him because he's living a strange life now on the West Coast of the United States away from his family."

Parry added: "He's following in the footsteps of Buzz Aldrin.

"Look, it's unbelievable that he's gonna be alongside Neil Armstrong, the first man ever to stand on the moon, and Buzz Aldrin, the second man ever to stand on the 2nd man ever to stand on the moon.

"The only man who, when he went out of the spacecraft for a space walk, his blood pressure went down, not up. That's how good Buzz Aldrin was.

"I mean, you can't imagine Harry stepping out into space and his blood pressure going down."

"Imagine if he goes to like a convention of all these winners and he says are you here?

"I broke the speed of sound, I was the first one to fly an airplane.

"What did you do, Harry? Oh, I took out 25 of the Taliban.

GBNews host Tom Harwood added: "I rewatched this film Sully the other day the man who landed the plane in the Hudson and saved the lives of hundreds of people.

"That's the kind of person who I'd think of as a living legend."
