Details in Prince Harry’s latest bombshell interview have suggested he is growing increasingly acclimatised to life in the US.
Sharp-eared royal watchers have noticed the Duke of Sussex’s increasingly Americanised accent, as his natural royal style appears to fade.

Harry sent the royal world into frenzy last week in his candid interview with the BBC after he suffered a legal defeat over security arrangements in the UK.
The Duke was attempting to reverse a decision to downgrade his security after he gave up being a working royal in 2020. However, the move ultimately failed at the Court of Appeals.

In the raw interview from May 3, The Duke of Sussex made clear his desire to reestablish contact with the Royal Family.
"I would love reconciliation with my family there's no point in continuing to fight anymore, as I said life is precious," Prince Harry said.
The 40-year-old also revealed he had "forgiven" his family members.
In a particularly controversial moment, Harry conceded he did not "know how much longer my father has left" - in reference to the King’s ongoing cancer treatment.

However, it was the Duke’s pronunciation of some words that had ears pricked during his landmark statements – despite being brought up speaking received pronunciation.
Harry was heard to drop many of his ‘Ts’ when using words where the letter is pronounced, such as “security,” “citizen,” “putting,” and “repeat”.
The affectation, whereby ‘T’s are pronounced as ‘Ds,’ is referred to as a Quick T and is common in most North American accents.
In an intriguing moment now edited out of the BBC iPlayer video, Harry was asked about his “status” in the interview – which the Duke replied, referring to “my status” in a familiarly British manner.
Viewers also noticed him breaking with royal tradition when referring to his father, the King.

However, he then repeated the word with the American Quick T with a grin.
As well as accents, US terminology appears to have also found thier way into the Duke’s dialect.
Breaking for Royal linguistic tradition, Harry substituted a simple “dad” for the “papa” when referring to his father.
When referring to dates, he also used the American manner of saying 2016 and once again dropped the ‘T’ in twenty.

The news follows the revelation earlier this year that the Sussexes children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have American accents.
In a video posted to Meghan Markle’s Instagram account, Archie could be seen watering plants.
The six-year-old could be heard telling his mother: "Mummy, I can do it if you want me to."
Meghan responded to her son: "Only if you want."
Prince Archie and his younger sister, three, have American accents due to spending the majority of their childhood in Santa Barbara, California.
